![]() ![]() Currently, all fighters fit in all fighter bays, and all drones fit in all drone bays. As such, we need to establish some kind of "default" behaviour for when a ship gains a bay. This enables fighters to line up with exterior pillars, bays that can seen on the outside of the ship, etc. As in, each fighter "slot" has exact co-ordinates, along with whether it appears on the outside of the ship, underneath the ship, or doesn't appear at all. Currently, the spot fighters/drones launch from is specified in the parent ship's data file. For 0.9.11 is a possibility, but probably 0.9.13 more likely. On the plus side, those things are being worked on. There's a whole bunch of stuff that needs to be dealt with before fighter (or drone) bays can be outfits.
